About the film

Motorcyclists on harley with a sidecar [newsreel originally silent - sound added recently]. Pre-war Harley riders E. Pietrzykowski and J. Ludwicki are starting their journey from Warsaw to Paris. They set off from Saxon Palace, which no longer exists (it was blown out by Nazi Germany army in 1944). There is a statue of Prince Joseph Poniatowski standing in front of it, which was placed there the previous year. The motorcyclists ride through the streets of Warsaw. There are shadows of cameraman and people accompanying him visible in the footage.
