During the Christmas season, for the first time in five years, all the Polish cities have taken on a truly festive feel. In Krakow, the traditional competition for the most beautiful Christmas nativity scene is revived. More than a hundred nativity scenes appeared in front of the St. Mary's Basilica. Here is the winner of the first prizes, a Krakovian tram driver, Walenty Malik and his nativity scene. An award of 2000 polish zlotys adds to the cheerful mood of the winner.
