After six-year break, Polish Championships in rowing were organised on the impressive regatta track in Bydgoszcz. The competition was attended by over 200 contestants representing 16 different sports clubs. The clubs from Bydgoszcz, knowing the track and having the best conditions for training, won first prize in most categories. Bydgoszcz Railway Rowing Club came first in the coxless four event. The coxless double event was also won by the hosts of the competition. The sensational single’s event was effortlessly won by the best Polish rower Werej. Suprisingly, in the eight event, the rowers from Kalisz came before the Railway Club from Bydgoszcz. In accordance with tradition, the winners were awarded laurel wreaths.
