Sea Festival celebrations took place on 29 June and 1 July in Gdańsk. Drumhead service was held at the Monument to Heroes of Westerplatte and Coast Defenders. It was attended by the President and the Marshal. Newly formed navy untis pledge allegiance to the Polish Sea. Military parade begins with the march of colour guards, which took part in battles against Germany, and the navy units. Sea Festival has become a mass demonstration of feelings and the will of the Polish nation which takes into eternal possession the Baltic coast – from Elbląg all the way to Szczecin.
